  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you notice how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. For many women - especially during pregnancy, postpartum, or fertility challenges - anxiety can show up as constant worry, self-criticism, or feeling stuck in “what if” thinking.

CBT offers practical tools to gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional awareness, and respond to stress in ways that feel more supportive and grounded. It’s a collaborative approach that helps you feel more in control without asking you to ignore or push away what you’re feeling.

  • Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between your mind and body. The body often holds stress even when we can’t put words to it.

This approach helps you tune into physical sensations, breathing, and nervous system responses to create a greater sense of safety and regulation. Rather than talking about anxiety, somatic therapy supports you in noticing and responding to what your body needs in the moment. This can be especially helpful when emotions feel overwhelming or hard to explain.

  • Parts work is a gentle way of understanding the different “parts” of you that show up in daily life, like the part that worries, the part that feels overwhelmed, or the part that tries to hold everything together for everyone else.

These parts often develop as ways to cope and protect you. In therapy, we approach these parts with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. This work helps reduce inner conflict, increase self-understanding, and support a more balanced, kind relationship with yourself.

  • Although these modalities are the ones I pull into session most often, our sessions are completely personalized to you. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach because every person is unique in their goals, lived experiences, and current environment. If one approach isn't working, we try another until you see positive change.
